Breakfast Club 


The Breakfast Club booking form will close on Friday 28th May at 10am. After that, further bookings could prove problematic if the 'bubbles' are at maximum capacity. All sessions should be paid for in advance, online, via SIMS Agora.
Please complete a separate form per child.
Assume your booking has been successful if school does not get in contact.

The Breakfast Club aims:

  • To provide the highest possible standard of care in a secure, caring and supportive environment, where children feel comfortable and happy before starting the school day.
  • To enable children to eat breakfast before school in a pleasant, relaxed environment.
  • To help children be more aware of healthier foods to have for breakfast.
  • To create opportunities for learning (by having a homework and reading station).

The Breakfast Club will provide:

  • Healthy breakfast including cereal toast and drink.
  • A choice of activity after breakfast such as drawing, board games and reading.
  • A calm atmosphere where children can relax ready for the school day.
  • Respect for any dietary, religious or medical requirements.

Behavior:

Children attending Breakfast Club are expected to behave according to the expectations set out in the School Behaviour Policy. Incidents of inappropriate behaviour at the Breakfast Club will be reported to the Headteacher.

Staffing:

There is one Breakfast Club leader, Mrs Hinchliffe and up to four other members of school Staff. These are, Mrs L Etches, Mrs T Buss, Ms T Gilman and Ms N Hallam. 

Routine:

Children should arrive at 7.45am; no responsibility will be taken for children arriving before this time. Entrance to the Breakfast Club is via the white door into the Infant Hall. Children go straight into the Infant Hall where a healthy breakfast will be served. A variety of activities will be on offer once the children have eaten.  Children will remain in the care of the Breakfast Club staff until 8.40am when a member of KS2 staff will accompany the junior children back to the main entrance of the junior building and infant children will be escorted to their classrooms.

Fees: 

There is a registration fee of £3.00 per session for KS1 and KS2 children and £4.50 for nursery children unless breakfast club is used as part of their 30 hours free early learning then there is just a £1.50 food supplement. Any booking will be provisional until the full fee has been received. Please note that fees are non-returnable even if a child does not attend. Payment is by SIMS Pay only. 

Cancellation:

All pre-booked sessions will be charged in full. Refunds will not be made for non-attendance.
