Wood Lane, Sheffield, South Yorkshire S65HN
This year we are proud to announce that Shooters Grove Primary School has registered as a Learning Destination with Sheffield Children's University (CU).
Sheffield Children’s University is part of a national initiative that encourages and celebrates participation in a wide range of learning opportunities outside of normal school hours.
Children are awarded one credit for every hour they participate and these hours add up to earn Children’s University Awards. To collect credits away from school, they need a Passport to Learning which can be bought from the school office or local library for £2.
There are lots of fun and exciting activities taking place away from school across Sheffield where children can collect learning credits. This brochure gives information about activities available this February half term holiday through the Children's University and also lists the learning destinations and their contact details - have a look if your club is registered yet!
If you already attend out of school activities, you can nominate them to become a learning destination by following this link - learning destination nomination.
You don’t need to use the Passport at school-run activities. All hours collected in a Passport to Learning will add those collected in school.
Please enquire at the school office if you are interested in the Children's University. We will shortly be publishing our catalogue of activities available for children at Shooters Grove to earn their credits.

We look forward to inviting parents to our first CU Awards Assembly in the Autumn/Spring term.
