Aims of Shooter's Grove Primary School

Welcome to Shooter's Grove Primary School. We aim to create a friendly, happy, purposeful and orderly environment in which children can develop their abilities to the full. We are concerned with all aspects of the child's development and provide a broad and balanced curriculum that meets their individual needs and rates of progress.

The atmosphere within the school, and the opportunities open to them, encourages all children to make any adjustments, educational, social and emotional, to enable them to mix easily and happily with both children and adults, irrespective of gender, culture or ethnic background.

We hope that every child will develop a caring attitude and a worthy set of values so that s/he is fully prepared for, and is able to accept, her/his responsibilities within the wider community as they grow into adulthood.

We believe that the best educational environment is achieved when children, parents, staff, Children & Young People’s Directorate and governors work closely in partnership.
